Helppppp!!!!!Muaz dont want to stop breastfeeding...huaaaa!!!
I planned to breastfeed him for 2 years but now he's 2 yrs 5mths++..and he goes into a tantrum everytime I told him no more "mummy's milk"...Believe me,I tried gamat(the black one)and even told him mummy's milk will bleed but he couldn't care less..
"Muaz...mummy loves you but you're a big boy now, you're a cannon ball,a transformer,a superhero...you have to drink milk from the glass..no more mummy's milk okay.."
"Ya Allah..Kau kurniakan lah kebaikan dari air susu ku ini untuk anak ku,dan Kau permudahkanlah bagiku untuk memberhentikan anak ku dari menyusuinya, dan Kau kurniakanlah kebaikan dari pemberhentian ini dan jauhilah anak ku dari keburukannya, amin"

Hi! It okay for him to breastfeed until he wants to wean off of the breast. It's more natural this way and less traumatic for him. You might feel pressured by other people to wean but don't let them make your decisions. Toddlers will usually wean themselves between 3 and 4. And while he is breastfeeding he is still receiving all the benefits not to mention that you will have a lower chance of getting pre menopausal cancer.
my SIL kan, dia conteng2 kat nipple dia dgn lipstick kaler merah menyala...then anak dia terus geli tak suka nak mintak nenen lagi...
Hi tracy...thanks for the supportive comment, appreciate it.Yes..I think its a good idea to let him wean of it on his own..maybe I dont know what to expect as my 1st daughter wean off own her own exactly when she turned 2.Maybe I need to be more patience, they ARE different right?:)
salam abrahyn..I pon tak tahu nak buat apa coz i pon takde lipstick kaler merah..kekeke..insyaAllah,kita doa je la byk2 :).terima kasih atas support you.
na, luqman dulu pun 4 th lebih br stop. sbnrnya nak berhentikan tp kesian pun ada kan....... itu kite dulu la...hahaha. ada yg kata tak elok lama2 sbb anak lelaki. tp takpe la na makin byk dia dpt susu dr kita makin sayang dia kat kita. amin.
salam acik nah..ye ke?4yrs?hmm...thanks for sharing, kita pon tak kisah sgt but mulut org2 yg tak supportive buat kita a bit stress bout this, but ada isteri imam pernah ckp kt kita tau,dia ckp biar anak tu stop sendiri jgn dipaksa..pastu kita ada google n terbaca ada lak ustaz tu ckp kalo menyusu lebih dari 2 thn ni nnt,ada side effect kat budak tu dari segi penghafalan..but i think, rahmat Allah swt mana ada side effect kan?Allah kurniakan susu utk anak kita, takkanla ada side effect lak..anyways,thank you for yr support.makcik akan cuba bersabar.:)
salam...
i rasa, biar je la dia minum susu tu selagi dia mau. ANak2 i berhenti sendiri. sayang rasanya dapat menyusukan diaorang sekejap aje.. mudah2an anak2 kita akan menjadi manusia yang berguna kepada agama bangsa dan negara..Amin..
salam GH..yes,you're right.thanks for the support.I think let him stop on his own la..dah tak larat nak tgk dia ngamuk :)
Hi Adriana,
Just wanna share my experience with u. My first one breastfed exclusively till he was 2 yrs old which resulted with me not getting my period for 2yrs 9 months. When I finally got my period I got preggers again but my son still refused to wean off. At 5 months I decided that I had to get him off as my belly was getting bigger and so was he. So I had to separate from him by sending him to nursery with hopes he will learn from his friends. It was a struggle at first but after almost 3 months we succeeded. However when his lil brother came the milk ducts were too seasoned i guess..which caused the milk to flow too fast so adik refused to be breastfed. I had them pumped but the milk dried out so soon he ended up taking formula after confinement. Both my boys are healthy now so I guess you can stop anytime as long as they get the early milk where all the good stuff are plenty...
Nice blog by the way
:-)
awww..hani,thanks babe for sharing.I'm still feeding him and at the same time feeling quite "rimas"with him clinging to me all the time...I'll try to wean him slowly, insyaAllah. He does eat other normal food but he'll ask for "it"when he wants to sleep...hopefully he'll stop soon.
:)
